      previous issue diagonally overprinted with a straight line rubber stamp approximately 61 mm long with seriffed capitals 3 mm high for the Liberian Internal Revenue Department; this overprint is found in varous shades of violet through to violet-black and occasionally even black; overprint exists reading upwards and downwards, both normal and inverted.
